This highly integral job / position will have a strong emphasis on Program Management and Instructional Design. Using your extensive experience with Lean Enterprise and Design for Six Sigma you will be responsible for designing, developing and improving a wide variety of Six Sigma training courses and materials to ensure consistency, quality and effectiveness of Six Sigma training delivery. You will also act as a Master Instructor and will deploy Six Sigma training programs including master schedule and materials.
Maintain master schedule for all Six Sigma courses and coordination of instructor resources.
Manage training planning, registration, graduation and certification processes.
Manage material planning and allocation
Manage Six Sigma training budget
Specific Design and Development Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy Six Sigma Leader Program modules including: Championing Six Sigma Projects, Championing Six Sigma Behaviors, Leading Process Management, Championing Design for Six Sigma and Building a VOC System
Develop and manage program to retool all Black Belts in Lean Enterprise methods & tools
Manage development and deployment of DFSS training products)
Manage upgrades to all existing training courses & modules including Black Belt and Green Belt.
Evaluate and select E-Learning Products
Develop training & development approach to prepare BBs for MBB role and to further develop BBs beyond base Black Belt training
Collaborate with other Quest Diagnostics training organizations to integrate Six Sigma into current and planned courses
To qualify for this position you must possess:
An advanced degree (preferably within Engineering)
Black Belt certification required; MBB preferred
Extensive experience with Lean Enterprise and Design for Six Sigma
3-5 years experience within Six Sigma field
High degree of technical mastery of Six Sigma tools, methods and concepts
Six Sigma strategic deployment experience
Demonstrated training delivery/platform skills and training management skills
Demonstrated course development skills especially with Six Sigma Methodology and concepts
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Proven coaching and mentoring skills
Proven experience with change leadership and project/program management
